What sort of events can you play for?
All events! String quartets are extremely versatile, it’s simply a case of selecting the right music to set the tone for your occasion.
I’m getting married, which part of my wedding should I book a string quartet for?
String quartets are great at setting the mood for weddings and are suitable for a range of different scenarios. We can play at the church or civil venue as the guests arrive, during your ceremony, at a drinks reception or to accompany your wedding breakfast.
I don’t know any string quartet music.
That’s not a problem. Just email or call us to tell us what your ideas are and we will design a perfect programme of music for you.
There’s a piece of music I really like but it’s not on your list.
It might not be on the list but we may already have the music. If we don’t then we might be able to purchase the parts or write an arrangement for string quartet ourselves. (This may incur a small charge.)
How long can you play for?
The length of time is dependent on the type of occasion, from just a few pieces to a couple of hours – contact us to discuss your exact requirements.
Which regions in the UK do you play?
We typically play in London, Essex and Hertfordshire but will play anywhere in the South East of England.
When do I need to book?
As soon as possible, so that you can avoid disappointment and we have time to plan your programme.
How much do you charge?
This depends on the event, and for how long we will be playing. Our charges range from £400 to £600, depending on how long we are playing for and how far we have to travel to get to you.
Can I listen to you play?
Soon, we hope. We plan to put a few short clips onto this website in the near future. Alternatively we can let you know of any open events that we are playing at so that you can come and hear us.
